How many squares are on each side?
x*y = 49
where x the number of squares for the width, and y is the number of squares for the length.
120000 = X*Y
where X is the width in feet, Y is the length in feet
120000/49 = (X/x) * (Y/y)
You have X/x = Y/y
I have a diagram of an occupied building space within a larger building represented by 49 equal squares but no linear measures for the sides. The space is 120,000 sq ft. how can i estimate the lengths and widths of the floor space with just this information?
