I following is a paragraph regarding my experience with credit cards. I had to use least five adverbs and five adjectives in my paragraph. I have to bold the adverbs and underline the adjectives, the only problem is I am having a hard time figuring out which are adverbs and adjectives. I know this is stupid, but please help.

When I was 18, I received my first credit card. When I first received my credit card, I was not very responsible. I quickly charged the card to its max limit and was constantly late on my monthly payments. Because of the late payments and high balance, the interest rate were absurdly high and the late fee were abundant. After ending up in severe debt, I realized that what I did was very stupid spent the next year working hard to pay off the debt from the credit card. Immediately after the card was paid off, I closed the account. I am proud to say, I have learned from this very foolish experience and have tried to be more responsibly with credit cards after that.

Adjectives modify nouns and pronouns. The answer the questions, Which? What kind of? How many? about the words they modify.

Adverbs modify verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs. They answer the questions Where? When? Why? How? To what extent? about the words they modify.

Hints about adverbs:
Many end in -ly.
Other common adverbs include: not, never, very, always.
Adjectives:
first
responsible
max (maximum?)
late
monthly
late
high
high
late
abundant
severe
stupid
proud
foolish
responsible [not "responsibly"]

Adverbs:
not
very

absurdly
very

Immediately

more

There may be others, but you have more than five of each.

After ending up in severe debt, I realized that what I did was very stupid spent the next year working hard to pay off the debt from the credit card.

That needs some editing. It should be two complete sentences, and there are some words missing.
Thank you both for your help, I have another problem that I have just posted, any help on it would be appreciated.
