i don't get when it says

A flash card has the problem on one side and the answer on the other. If the problem was 2* 5, that would be on one side, with the answer (10) on the other. To save the number of cards used, you could have two different problems on one card.

Let's say you had the two problems 2*5 and 3*6. One side would have 2*5 in large font and 18 in small font. The other would have 3*6 in large font and 10 in small font. That way, whichever side you looked at, you would have a problem presented.
