I don't get this I've been absent for 3 weeks
On a math quiz Mary score 3 points for each of the 12 multiple-choice question she answered correctly and five points for each of the eight free response question she answered correctly. What was the total number of points Mary scored?

im not sure but i believe the answer is 76
You haven't told us how many questions in each group that Mary answered correctly.
If Mary answered 20 questions correctly, Nicole is correct.
I think it does say how many in each group that Mary answered correctly by the way it words it but its hard to tell.
