I am trying to write a conclusion for my essay about connecting my author's life to her books. Can anyone give me some tips on how to write a conclusion without simply restating what I said in the introduction? Thank you!

This is the best webpage I've read regarding how to write a good conclusion.

As a general rule, you should not be making new connections in the conclusion. A conclusion is a restatement of the point of the essay. The function of the conclusion is to restate for the last time your argument, it is your last chance.
