I am taking a ground school class (a preliminary for a private pilot license)and am having trouble taking in all of the information involving memorizing terms, abbrieviations formulas and definitions. How do I get all of those facts and equations to stick in my head? How do I get the knowledge that more experienced pilots have without spending hundreds of hours in an airplane?

Lane, why don't you read books and take notecard notes.and the easier way for me to remember facts or things is to read a book about it snd to write down all the important facts about it. So as you write, you will repeat the facts that you wrote down in your head and then there you go!!!!You will then have it memorized!!!
