I am not sure how to go about figuring this out ... Shuffle the numbered cards of an ordinary deck of cards (aces equal 1). Pick out one card to be the answer card. Then deal off the top four cards to use for an equation. Try to use 2,3,or all 4 cards to form an equation. Example: Answer card is 4. Equation cards are 2, 6, 8, and 10. Possible equations are(10 + 6 - 8)divided by 2 = 4 or 8 +2 - 6 =4. Assign 5 points if you use all 4 cards to make an equation, 3 points for using 3 cards, and 1 point for using only 2 cards. ..... i am stumped .... any help would be appreciated!

The idea here is to get a deck of cards and follow the instructions. I don't know what the answer card will be nor what the other four cards will be (and neither do you) so just get a deck and try it. Now if YOU CAN PICK the cards, you might get somewhere by picking an answer, then pick cards that will give you that answer. But I don't think that's the idea.
Ding dong ... the lightbulb turned on .. thank you ... got it figured out!
