I used my calculator to find the line of best fit. From that I wrote my equation of y = 0.634x + 64.945
I know I can put that into my calculator under the y= function.
What I am asking is this == under the L1 function of my calculator is a list of values for x --- is there some way that the calculator will automatically calculate those values for x instead of me doing each one by hand?
.634(18) + 64.945 =
.634(19) + 64.945 =
.634(20) + 64.945 =
etc.
Do I have to do this by hand or is there a way to get my calculator to do it?
I am learning about lines of best fit and how to do them on my calculator. I found the correct equation and now I need to find predicted values for x. I have all my x values and I have my equation. Do I need to do each of these manually on my calculator, or how do I put the equation into my calculator and it does it for all the x values at once? I have a ti-84 plus graphing calculator.

I'm pretty sure there's some kind of table operation for your calculator.
Tell you what.
Rather than making me read the manual, why don't you have a go at it?
Or check with google. It has lots of information.

Thanks === I have tried that multiple times == without success. That's why I thought I would ask here.
