I am hoping someone would be able to assist with a multiple question I have. The answer I have is B that Germany disassociated/distanced themselves from it. However, other resources denote Germany did claim/denied that it ever happended. This is very confusing to me if anyone has any suggestions and/or recommendations I would appreciate it very much indeed!
Post-war Germany's response to the Holocaust was to
A. claim it never happened.
B. distance themselves from it.
C. attempt reparations.
D. try to justify it.
Thank you

Although Germany has/had a few Holocaust deniers, Germany as a whole attempted reparations. Ordinary citizens often tried to distance themselves from it.
