Question

I am having some trouble with my assignment. My assignment was to watch the movie Gangs of New York, and find 5 different cultures that faced discrimination within in the movie and use specific examples.

So far I have the Irish-because they runied New York and would work for less pay than the slaves and should return home.

I also have the African Americans and I believe they were against the Irish.

Is this the same movie I watched? Where are the rich? Where are the lackeys?

Its the verison of the movie with Cameron Diaz. Were the Chinks and Anglos discimiated also?

I don't get why there was discrimination in the movie.
