I'm assuming both Ys are in the
denominator:
3/y - 3/2y + 4 =
Find common denominator:
(6 - 3 + 8y) / 2y =
(3 + 8y) / 2y = 3/2y + 8y/2y =
3/(2y) + 4.
I am having some problem with solving a problem that the teacher gave to us. I ahving been working on it, but I just can't seem to get it. I keep getting the answer 2(y-2)/y+2.
3/y-3/2y+4
