i am having a hard time figuring out the adverbs and adjectives in my paragraph, can anyone help me with this? A few years ago, I had filled out an application for a credit card from capital one. I was accetped and given a spending limit of 300 dollars. I maxed out that limit in 3 days on some purchases that my daughter and girlfriend wanted. At the time, I did not have any annual fee or interest on the card. After one year of having it, my interest rate jumped to almost 19%. So when I had gotten the chance to talk to the representative about all this to find out why my interest was so high, I had found out that it was because of my credit history. I then added the option to my credit card plan to have my credit report from Trans Union sent to me every 3 months for $1.99 a month. Once I started receiving my credit report, I then started to work on fixing my credit by paying off some of the negative balances that was provided to me.

In your first two sentences, I've bolded the adjectives:
A few years ago, I had filled out an application for a credit card from Capital One. I was accepted and given a spending limit of 300 dollars.
Adverbs modify verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs. They tell when, where, why, how.
I've italicized the adverbs in your last sentence.
Once I started receiving my credit report, I then started to work on fixing my credit by paying off some of the negative balances that was provided to me.
