I am doing my research paper on Character Anaylsis of Ethan Frome, from the novel "Ethan Frome". I need help with my thesis. This is what I came up with but I don't think its good enough.

A perceptive character, Ethan Frome is a civilized and charismatic young man, who doesn’t have the determination in him, to go against his wife.
