Question

I am doing a presentation on the efficiency of appliances. I am going to be comparing the past and the present and then France and the US. Do you guys know of any good websites that would talk about any of this. All I can really find is different brands of appliances and then they say. This is really efficient. What I really need is detail and statistics.

Google does not have a problem of supplying us with information. The real problem is to supply the appropriate information.

We can help by <i>asking</i> for the appropriate information. There are many search tips one could use. In your case, you can start by extending the language of your search results at:
http://www.google.com/preferences?hl=en
and click on the "language" button/bar.
Check "French" or "français" as an additional language.

For your next searches, add a French word, such as "produits proctor-silex". Google will then return the sites which are in French.
