I am doing a essay on american disability act in a faculity dealing with these persons and can not find JCAHO standards for this type of an organization can anyone help me through this hump? here is my outline for the JCAHO part.
a) Compliance
Help facilities be in compliance with specific federal regulations.
b) obtain accreditation
Staff must know his or her specific job description and be able to perform job duties with excellences. The organization must also continuously improve the safety and care of patients to become accredited through JCAHO. The organization once accredited must remain constant to pass surprise surveys from the Joint Commissions upholding the organizations mission’s statements and quality of care to persons.
c) Environmental improvements
d) Reduce cost of compliance
e) Patients right and privacy
f) Signs and symptoms of abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
g) Public accommodations
