I am currently doing an assignment about the preamble to the US Constitution.

Question

Question: What examples can you provide in the present that shows the US Government is still fulfilling this purpose today? Give two.

I have completed 5 out of the 6th purposes. I am stuck on "secure the blessings of liberty". I am not sure what some current examples may be. I have looked everywhere on the internet and just can't seem to figure it out. Would one example be the 26th amendment?

Take a look at some of the recipients of the Liberty Medal. It is awarded to honor those deemed to have labored to secure the blessings of liberty. It will give you some idea of what might be considered to give meaning to the phrase.
