Hydrogen boils at 20K. What is the boiling point of hydrogen on the Celsius scale?

K is 273.15 degrees plus the celsius. so take 20(K) and minus 273.15 this would give your answer in celsius

thanks.. One more question

What is the volume of a board that measures 1.8 by 8.8cm by 30.5 cm?

sorry my sister was on here and so my first question was post under devon

v=length x height x depth

483.12cm ?

right. Have you talked about significant figures yet? If so, I would round it to two significant figures because 1.8 and 8.8 have two s.f. in them. Therefore, I would round to 480 (with no period) or 4.8 x 10^2 cm^3.

yes we talked about significant figures. Thanks. There's another part on my paper asking for the symbol and meaning of the prefixs pico-, kilo-, micro-, and centi- where can i find this?

kilo is 1000 times(10^3). centi is 1/100th(10^-2). micro is 1/1,000,000th (10^-6). pico is 10^-15. Here is a very good site for all of the SI units.
