How would you prepare 100.0 mL of 0.07500 M AgNO3 solution starting with pure solute?

2. An experiment calls for you to use 250 mL of 1.0 M HNO3 solution. All you have to available is a bottle of 6.0 M HNO3. How would you prepare the desired solution?

Well....I'm not the amazing Ms.Sue but I'll be glad to help. I'm not good with this stuff...but I'll try:

#2.find moles required Moles = Molarity x Litres = 1.0 x0.25 = 0.25 moles.
Litres = moles / Molarity = 0.25 / 6 = 0.0417 = 41.7 ml
