how to prepare a 250 mL solution of .15 M K2SO4 with a volumetric flask

1 answer

How many moles K2SO4 do you need? That's M x L = ?
0.15 x 0.250 = 0.0375. Convert to grams.
mols = grams/molar mass and g = mols x molar mass = you do it.
Take that many grams K2SO4, place in a 250 mL volumetric flask, add some distilled or deionized water, swirl until all of the solid is dissolved, make to the mark on the volumetric flask with deionized water, stopper, mix thoroughly, label.
