Here is a recipe for making chicken egg rolls:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 1 cup finely shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup bean sprouts
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 10-12 egg roll wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
2. Place an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface and spoon about 2 tablespoons of the chicken filling in the center of the wrapper.
3. Fold the bottom of the wrapper over the filling, then fold the sides inward towards the center. Roll tightly to enclose the filling, brushing the top corner with water to seal the egg roll.
4. Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling.
5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium-high heat to approximately 350°F (175°C).
6. Fry the egg rolls in batches for about 3-4 minutes, or until they turn golden brown. Flip them occasionally for even cooking.
7. Remove the egg rolls from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
