Thank you for using the Jiskha Homework Help forum. A woodchuck is a groundhog. The word itself is of Algonquian origin for this marmot. Since "chuck" means "discard" I doubt a woodchuck would have reason to chuck wood! If he could, it would probably be one piece at a time.
