How much of a part does ethics play in the development of organizational culture? Is it a big, important part? Why or why not?

That depends upon the organization. Some are highly ethical, while some have never heard the word.

The school system for which I taught was highly ethical. It considered the best interests of individual students.

The mortgage companies that granted mortgages to people who were poor risks were not ethical.
