How much heat is required for 32.5g of Na2co3 to completely decompose?

1 answer

Na2CO3 ==> Na2O + CO2
look up delta Hformation for each at 25 C. Assuming delta H doesn't change that much, then
dHrxn = (n*dHf products) - (n*dHf reactants)
That will give you the heat required to decompose 106 grams.
Then dHrxn x (32.5/106) =?
I don't have those numbers in my references.
