How much energy(in calories)would it take to heat 13g of water 2 degrees Celsius??
1.00cal/1g C = 13 x 2 = 26 Calories

Is that right?

However, use of the equality sign is valid only when both sides of the sign are equivalent.

You could write:

Energy required
=13g * 1.00 cal/g°C * 2 °C
=26 cal
