How does buying a car that gets good gas mileage might reduce the amount of carbon dioxide that is added to the atmosphere?
Each gallon of fuel a car uses creates 20 lb of carbon dioxide. A car with good gas mileage means you can drive it farther and longer on each gallon of gas, makeing you burn less fuel,whitch causes less carbon dioxide to be released into the atmosphere.
