How might fragrance designers benefit from an understanding of how the shape of an odorant stimuilates a receptor? PLEASE!!! I'm completeing another C^3 assignment and its due tomorrow so i could really use the help!

How is the receptorodorant relationship similar to an enzyme substrate relationship? either one would be nice.

We smell an odor when the fragrance fits into the "hole" in the nasal passage. If the fragrance doesn't fit into the receptor we can't "smell" it.
