how many grams are in 5.2*10^15 atoms of nickel

2 answers

1) you need find out what is the molar mass of nickel
2) the mole # of nickel is
5.2*10^15 /(Avogadro's number6.0221415*10^23)
3)# of grams = (mole # )*(molar mass of nickel)
moles Ni = 5.2 x 10^15/6.022 x 10^23 = ??
moles Ni = g/atomic mass. You have moles Ni from above and you can look up the atomic mass NI from the periodic table. That leaves just one unknown, grams.
