How many different rectangles can you make so that each one has a perimeter of 16 inches?

P = 2L + 2w

2L + 2w = 16
2(L + w)= 16
L + w = 8

You need numbers that add to 8.
8 + 0 = 8
7 + 1 = 8
6 + 2 = 8

See how many you can come up with.

There might be any easier way, that I'm not thinking about.

Cross off 8 + 0 = 8.
Can't have a side of 0.
