You use the web every day. You used it to write this message. Think of all the things you do on the web and put that into sentences. You will have your answer.

You've found one way that the Web has changed communication. You wrote a question and posted it on this board -- and I'm answering it.

We also use e-mail and instant messaging to communicate with individuals. This has increased our typing skills and force us to write coherently and read and comprehend our messages.

Before the Web, people talked in person or by phone. Some also wrote letters sent by snail mail.

In this regard, email and instant messaging is much faster than letters in the mail, and much easier than telephone calls.
