how have you taken advantage of the educational opportunities you have had to prepare/

It’s unbelievable how each year, since the beginning of high school, my perfectly laid plans for myself have deteriorated. When I entered my freshman year, I had dreams of being a doctor. Now here I am entering my senior year in high school without any idea of what I want to do. This is the time to start taking life seriously and making responsible, educated choices. Looking back, I realize that I cannot become the doctor I wanted to be before. I am not definite why I changed my mind in regard to being a doctor, but I started thinking about what I wanted to do; I went from teaching to computer programming to astronautics and numerous other professions. Finally, I found my interest in aerospace engineering. Without having a career goal in life, planning to go to college I think will be hard. I have used the help of my counselors, my family, and my teachers for advice on collgege.

now, i am having trouble understanding the question and answering it. i know what it's saying i just don't know how to include it. what does it mean educational opportunities. like help from teachers or counselors or more like my father came from india for a job offer and my family came and we are the only kids (my brother and me) in my family to be educated in america.

The Question is about what you have done to get educated, not your state of distress. List your educationat history paying special attention to extra carricular activities.

As to your distress, You have 2 years of college before you have to worry about a specific direction, relax. Even though the college will have you declare a major when you get there, you can change it after 2 years with no harm. Start talking to the councelors at the colleges you are interested in now.

I agree with Ken on this, you failed to address the question.

What educational opportunities exist for you to take advantage of (such as ap courses, math, science)?
What have you done with your time?
