How do you write the square root of 3 in exponential form? or any other radical into exponential form

1 answer

since (x^a)^b = x^(ab)

(√3)^2 = 3
So, if √3 = 3^a,
(3^a)^2 = 3^(2a) = 3^1
So, 2a=1
√3 = 3^(1/2)

The nth root of x is x^(1/n)
