How do you square a fraction like 4/3 squared?

(4/3)^2 = (4/3)(4/3) = 16/9

If your fraction is in lowest terms,
to square a fraction, just square the top and square the bottom
Wouldn't the square root of 4/3^2 be 4/3?? because your multiplying 4/3 by 4/3, and then dividing by 4/3/ which is 4/3.
