A weakened wall possibly caused by disease, injury, birth abnormality, or high blood pressure can lead to a brain aneurysm in which an artery bursts. While it may not always be deadly, the consequences can be severe and result in a hemorrhagic stroke.
*English isn't my best subject, but this is an example of how I was taught to paraphrase.
How do you paraphrase this statement? A brain aneurysm is a ballooning-out of the wall of an artery in the brain. Often this wall is weakened by disease, injury or an abnormality present at birth. Aneurysms are often caused or made worse by high blood pressure. They aren't always life-threatening, but serious consequences — such as a stroke — can result if one bursts in the brain. This is called a hemorrhagic (or bleeding) stroke.
