Convert the mixed number to a fraction, and the multiply the numerators and denominators separately.
Example:
(2/7) x (2 5/8)
= (2/7) x (21/8)
= 42/56 = 3/4
Example:
(2/7) x (2 5/8)
= (2/7) x (21/8)
