Use an intuitive approach , also 2! = 2
as k -->∞ , 1/k ---> 0
so you would have
lim 1(1 - 1/k)/2 as k --> ∞
= 1(1 - 0)/2
= 1/2
How do you find the limit of:
1(1 - (1/k))/2! as k increased with no bound?
I know the answer is 1/2!
But how do you get there? Are you supposed to divide both top and bottom by k?
