It all depends on what is given.
If the base and the area are given, then you can solve for h in
Area=base*height
If the three sides of a triangle are given, you would have to calculate the area of the triangle first using
s=(a+b+c)/2
Area=sqrt(s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c))
If angles and sides are given, you'd have to solve for the triangle using sine rule, cosine rule, or other trigonometric formulae.
Good luck on your exam.
HOW DO YOU FIND THE HEIGHT OF A TRIANGLE??????!
I am taking my SAT tomorrow morning, and i am freaking out because i haven't taken geometry for 5 years and i can't even remember how to find the height of a simple triangle! You have no idea how stressed out i am right now! *hyperventilates
