HOW DO U SOLVE TWO STEP EQUATIONS????

1 answer

Two ways.
1. Multiply each equation by a number such that one of the variables will add to zero, thus eliminating that variable. Then solve for the other variable.

2. Solve one equation for either variable in terms of the other variable, then substitute this value into the second equation and solve for the remaining variable.
