how do u get the answer?

A nurse has to record her temperatures in Celsius but her thermometer reads Fahrenheit. A patient's temperature is 100.7° F. What is the temperature in °C

2 answers

C = 5/9(F-32)
so

C = 5/9(100.7-32)
= 38.2º

(This is a strange question.
No nurse in a modern medical situation would not have a thermometer that measures in Celsius)
Never underestimate the power of governmental regulation, nor the logic of it.
