Can't be done.
If you move the 1.2v^2/.6 to the left, you wind up with
-.2v^2/.6 = 9.8
The left side is negative and the right side is positive. I suspect a typo somewhere, or an error in devising the equation.
how do i solve for v in the equation:
v^2/.6=1.2v^2/.6 +9.8
