How do i get left side to equal rs?

(Tanx/1+secx)+(1+secx/tanx)=(2/sinx)

1 answer

try putting the LS over a common denominator:

tanx/(1+secx) + (1+secx)/tanx

tanx*tanx + (1+secx)^2
---------------------------
     tanx(1+secx)

tan^2x + 1 + 2tanx + sec^2x
-------------------------------
     tanx(1+secx)

I think you can see where this is going, right?
