How do I find out on a standard calculator what this is:
A=1/2 (4 3 )(48)
It's supposed to read 4 square root 3
I don't even know how to input this into my calculator. Can someone tell me how? thanks!

I assume sqrt(3) is the problem...there should be a square root button on your calculator, or, if not, an exponent button ("^"). If using the exponent button, remember that sqrt(3) = 3^(1/2).
The rest is just multiplication or division.

So does 166.28 sound about right? I don't have any examples to base the answer against, so I am very leery of this.
