How do I convert 19.9% into a fraction?

- percentages are always out of 100 so this is the same as saying the following:
19.9/100
- however it's not proper form to be using a decimal in a fraction so what you could do it move the decimal over to the right for both the numerator and denominator:
199/1000
- then simplify if you can
Theres a really neat button on most scientific calculators; it usually looks like a/b or something like that and it simplifies fractions for you
