What a ridiculous question! There were 121.8 million people in the US in 1929. Are you supposed to evaluate how each of them "felt"?
i think they were sorry they lost their money when the stock market crashed. But I don't know two other reactions...

many were out of work. Many families split up, with men leaving family to find work. Much social turmoil existed (rise of Communist party, and riots). War in Europe threatened. These were not good times.
