Also there is some chance of addiction to a video game and if one spends too much time with video games he/she will not have time to do those other things in life that are important.
Children's reading abilities may suffer if they become addicted to these things. This is a battle my daughter is waging with one of her sons. It's truly awful. His brain is going to be mush by the end of summer vacation if someone doesn't set a limit of the amount of "screen" time this kids can have each day!
