How can I work out the distribution law in mathematics

1 answer

If you mean the distributive property, you an find many examples online.

a(b+c) = ab+ac

That is, you can do the addition first and then multiply the sum, or multiply each part and then add the products.

12(18+12) = 12*18 + 12*12
Now, 12*18 and 12*12 you may not be able to just do in your head, and then you still have to add 216+144=360.
But if you add the 18+12=30 first, then you just have 12*30. You know 12*3 = 36, so 12*30 = 360
