How can I calcualate the probability of a normal distribution. Please present formula and an example. Thanks.

You don't need to calculate the proportions under a normal distribution. There should be a table in the back of your stats book labeled something like "areas under the normal distribution." You can plug in various Z scores to get the proportions.
