The U.S. Constitution states that the president must be a native-born citizen. That clause was included in the Constitution to prevent foreign princes -- or any other foreign-born person from becoming president.
Today, about 4% of American citizens are naturalized, and therefore cannot become president. Is that enough reason to change our Constitution?
