Why do you need more of either one? You have named what they have in common:
--both lived and died about the same time
--both wrote poetry about war
--both served in the British military forces during WWI
Otherwise, they really do have more differences than similarities. That can be a strength of your paper -- even though they were contemporaries who served in and wrote about the same war, their differences are compelling.

how are rupert brooke and owen wilfred similar? I'm comparing their writings: The soldier and Dulce Et Decorum Est.
I saw a lot of differences in their writings and the presentation of how they think of war, but how are they similar.
i know that both wrote about the same war, both used their knowledge to show the readers how war can effect people in different ways, the speaker in both poems is a soldier.
I'm writing an essay, it seems like i have more difference than similarities. i need more.
