Please help me :/

1) the pdf of the random var. X is given by

f(x)=  (3/8)(x+1)^2 if -1<x<1
        0           if  otherwise

Find the pdf of  a) Y=1-X^2 
                 b) Y=1-X^2 ifx<=0 and Y=1-X if x>0
