Hidesato showed not the least sign of fear. He tried to calm the Dragon King.
"Don't be afraid. I shall surely kill the centipede. Just bring me my bow and arrows."
The Dragon King did as he was bid, and the warrior noticed that he had only three arrows left in his quiver. He took the bow, and fitting an arrow to the notch, took careful aim and let fly.

In the folktale, Hidesato shows no fear when facing the centipede and tries to calm the Dragon King. Similarly, in his real life, Hidesato may have faced challenges or dangerous situations where he displayed bravery and composure. Additionally, just as Hidesato asks the Dragon King to bring him his bow and arrows in the folktale, in real life Hidesato may have relied on his skills or resources to overcome obstacles.
